The Cascadia 4x4 VSS System hard-mounts to the hood of your Jeep and, during daylight hours, provides a constant flow of clean solar energy to your primary or secondary vehicle batteries. This gives you the ability to run 12V accessories like fridges, phone/laptop chargers, lights, power inverters etc. without the need to start your engine and without the fear of draining your battery and leaving you stranded. The VSS System is completely plug-and-play if paired with our MPPT solar charge controller and can be installed in as little as 1.5 hours.

We chose the most stable and durable multilayered semi-flexible solar panel construction available to ensure that these solar panels can withstand extreme environmental conditions, maintenance-free, for years.

Features

30 watts of energy on the hood of your JL Wrangler Rubicon or JT Gladiator Rubicon from a solar panel that's only 3mm thick, meaning vehicle aerodynamics are not affected and the weight of the system is negligible.

Durable marine-grade solar panel construction. The panel is made from 8 laminated layers consisting of fiberglass and high tech polymers allowing it to stand up to harsh environmental conditions like rain/snow/ice/mud/rocks/sticks etc. High durability makes this panel perfect for an off-road vehicle.

Includes the Plug-and-play MPPT solar charge controller. This waterproof unit mounts in the engine bay and is highly resistant to heat and vibration. It automatically controls how much electricity reaches the battery and prevents overcharging. The charge controller has been pre-wired with fuses, terminals, and connectors to take out all the guesswork in setting up the VSS System.

The included custom cut vinyl base sheet protects the underlying vehicle paint from damage.

Factory-like appearance. The VSS System follows the contours and edges of the Jeep's hood perfectly giving it a seamless and sleek aesthetic.

We add strips of 3M neoprene foam to the base of each panel. This high density foam acts as a thermal barrier to protect your vehicle's paint from damage and also aid in solar panel cooling.

I recommend this for almost anyone that overlands. The solar panel keeps my battery topped off so I do need to worry about my car not starting.

Just got this installed today and it was pretty straight forward. I have the JLUR EcoDiesel so I mounted the controller on top of the fuse box. Time will tell but install was easy , looks good and is working.

I highly recommend the Cascadia panel. We have a 22 Mojave JT and its one of my favorite mods. The instructions are spot on - take your time and it should turn out great. My 6 yr old son helped me do it in an afternoon. Make sure you have a heat gun (you can get one for cheap on amazon) to apply the vinyl decal to get the panel in the right place. I added a 12V port in my bed (unf. it didn't already have it from the factory) and wired that to the panel. I use a bluetti EB70S and a DC cooler for road trips including from Fort Worth to New Hampshire last summer. B/w the solar charging in the day and the battery at night it would stay cool 24/7. I also think our frequency of getting "ducked" has increased after putting the panel on :-).

I purchased this aft get a fridge for my 2018 jeep wrangler jl. After running in I was afraid I would run my battery but with this solar panel I have peace of mind that my jeep will have no issues starting up and so far so good, I highly recommend.
