Features & Product Details
Improve your engine's performance with the Banks Power Ram-Air Intake System. Proven to increase the power-producing air that your engine needs, this air intake system boosts horsepower and torque and prevents your engine from being robbed of power by hot air. By replacing the standard factory flat panel with a lifetime, large conical filter that ensures the maximum in high-flow air filtration.
The Banks Power Ram-Air Intake System is a big improvement over your factory cold air intake system due to the monstrous inlet, extra-large tubing that eliminates the 90-degree angles, and the enclosed filter that radically boosts and cools the airflow going to your engine. Finally, the tuned "Helmholtz" resonator maintains you engine's throaty sound and eliminates unwanted engine drone.

I researched quite a bit on various CAIs available for my 2014 JK and decided on this one. Very happy with this system. Fairly easy to install, took about 1 hour start to finish. After install, I took my JK (manual trans) for a long drive. WOW. What a difference in power, sound and performance! Throttle response is much sharper, Jeep feels lighter on its feet and the sound….nice deep growl from the new intake. The growl is not extremely loud, but its very noticable under throttle. Sounds amazing. As far as any fuel economy gains….maybe 0.5-1mpg on my average. But, performance-wise and sound-wise its a huge improvement. Would I recommend this? YES. Should you get one? YES. My overall score is: 9.5/10 (a 10/10 would be if I saw a much larger/greater bump in MPGs)
