Jeep SpecificFalcon 2.1 Monotube Shocks engineered to meet the unique requirements of Jeep Wrangler JK 2-door. These Jeep-specific shock absorbers deliver increased stability, improved ride quality, and comfort for daily driven vehicles as well as race-inspired performance, handling, and stability for off-road rigs with 1.5-2.5-inch lift. 2.1 Shocks have been optimized for on- and off-road driving. High-Value Performance" is the driving force behind vehicle-specific dampers for Jeeps trucks and SUVs. These Jeep-specific shock absorbers deliver increased stability improved ride quality and comfort for daily driven vehicles as well as race-inspired performance handling and stability for off-road rigs.
Proprietary Volume Optimized Damping
Falcon’s proprietary Volume Optimized Damping (VOD) features a digressive linear valve to improve vehicle feedback, stability, and control during low-speed, high-speed, and off-road driving. As the piston compresses and rebounds, the valve restricts oil flow creating a damping effect. VOD’s quicker ramp up increases damping volume during low-speed driving as well as reduces shock bottoming at full compression during faster speeds or over uneven terrain. Traditional velocity sensitive shock absorbers react quickly during low-speed driving causing excessive “head toss” on rough terrain – or even driveways. Conventional damping then firms up during faster shaft speeds resulting in a jarring ride. Built from the ground up with a focus on fitment and function, Falcon’s corner-specific Series 3 Piggyback and Series 2 Monotube shock absorbers and Wrangler-specific Nexus EF 2 steering stabilizers deliver the best damping characteristics possible.
NOTES:
Bump stop configuration varies depending on shock absorber collapsed length, tire size, and fenders – See instructions for proper configuration for your application.
*NOTE - Due to varying lift heights we always recommend you measure the shock length you need to ensure proper fitment on your application*

This is the 4th brand of shock I’ve had on my Jeep. I finally abandoned the rancho RS9000’s after the adjustment knobs seized up and the internal calving just dissipated providing no little damping or rebound (twice, 8 shocks in total). Was really impressed with the warranty, salt spray testing and calving per corner on the Jeep with the falcons. They are absolutely fantastic in ride quality and control, very well built and finished. The install is a bit tricky in the rear due to the outboard mounting on the axle side brackets. It also requires drilling out one of the holes which forces you to run a falcon from here on out or weld new shock brackets on. It also can create some clearance issues for the rear brake lines which require a bit of persuasion to get them out of the way of the shock bodies and sway bar. Overall could not be happier, will never ride on anything other than a falcon!
