Installing a JK front axle in your TJ, LJ, XJ, MJ or ZJ? The axle swap can be tricky, but it’s doable. But what do you do for steering? Here is your solution!
RockJock's completely bolt-on Currectlync Steering System features an alloy steel 42mm (1.65 in.) diameter tie rod, 1.3 in. diameter solid forged steel drag link, larger forged, greaseable tie rod ends, premium jam nuts & adjuster and it's painted black, so it's ready for install right out of the box!
Additionally, you’ll need a modified pitman arm to hook this all up. This kit includes a brand-new TJ style pitman arm with the proper taper for the new steering system.
Both the tie rod and drag link feature double adjusters so that they do not require removal from the vehicle for adjustment once installed. This unit is designed for use on stock height or lifted vehicles, but for those with big tires, these components are also compatible with ram assist steering.
Components are completely bolt-on and kit includes our U-bolt style steering stabilizer shock mounting bracket to allow you to remount a steering stabilizer shock to the new tie rod tube.
Kit Fits:
Jeep Wrangler TJ - All Models (with stock front differential)
Jeep Wrangler TJ Unlimited (LJ) - All Models (with stock front differential)
Jeep Cherokee XJ - All Models (with stock front differential)
Jeep Comanche MJ - All Models (with stock front differential)
Jeep Grand Cherokee ZJ - All Models (with stock front differential)
Kit Includes:
(1) Tie Rod Assembly
(1) Drag Link Assembly
(1) Steering Stabilizer Shock Bracket Kit
(1) Pitman Arm
Fitment Specs.:
For use on factory Jeep JK Dana 30 and Dana 44 differentials.
All 4 rod end tapers are designed to fit stock JK taper for ease of installation (the provided pitman arm has been retapered to JK taper).
Being that this is a completely custom application and a custom build vehicle, you’ll want to cycle your suspension before use to check for clearance and travel issues.
You may have to add bump stop in your application to prevent the components from contacting anything on up travel.
Your down travel stop may have to be adjusted to prevent the rod ends from being your down travel stop!
This is a completely custom installation! RockJock assumes NO liability for any damage to these components due to improper set up! If you have set up questions or concerns – please call!
