The Rock Hard 4x4 Bolt-On Front and Rear Lower Control Arm Skid Plates Braces the your Lower Control Arms
Traversing large obstacles off-road in your Jeep Gladiator JT can be the most fun, unless you have left your undercarriage bare. Exposed suspension and steering components can be a disaster waiting to happen if you are challenging the tough terrains and obtrusive obstacles. Keeping your lower control arms covered can be made easy with the Rock Hard 4x4 Bolt-On Front and Rear Lower Control Arm Skid Plates. These are 100% bolt-on skid plates for your vulnerable front and rear lower control arm mounts. The OEM JL control arm mounts are not braced or skid plated and are the lowest points on your rig. First to hit, first to break!
1/4" Thick Steel Construction with Debris Resistant Powder-Coat Finish
The Rock Hard 4x4 Bolt-On Front and Rear Lower Control Arm Skid Plates are the industry standard because of the confidence they instill in each and every Jeep Gladiator JT owner. Each control arm skid is laser cut from 1/4" thick steel coated in a weather and debris resistant powder coat finish. Strength is proven on virtually all Jeep enthusiast forums with glowing reviews. Since 2007, Rock Hard 4x4's skid plate system has been the undisputed leader in undercarriage protection. Each skid plate is bent, formed, and hand-welded to ensure the most precise fit and a highly protective shape is achieved.

Solid and thick with everything for install. Easy install if vehicle is on flat surface, didn’t have to remove wheels either. If you use a small bottle jack to hold up the parts can do installation in about 2 1/2 hours. Instructions could be a little bit better but doing it before made it easier.

Despite what the instructions say, on a 2022 Jeep Gladiator Rubicon, the rear control arm bolts aren't long enough, you'll need bolts that are at least 1/4" longer. If you get the rear shock sliders, you will also need new bolts. They are also 1/4" to short. The good news is that the sliders all fit great and look strong. I haven't been back on the trail yet, to test them out.

had a lift kit installed and had them throw these on at the same time. Hope they help keep things from breaking.

Haven't scuffed the RH arm plates yet, but having bumped lots of other parts and pieces it's just a matter of time. The front plates use shims to align, but they aren't that hard to line up. I have a continuing rattle from the front passenger plate, I can't torque it any more than I have so we're just living with it. I may get a wedge made from sheetmetal and stuff it in the front. The factory bolts for the rear shocks are too short to accommodate the thickness of the plates, so I picked some longer Grade 8 bolts up from ACE Hardware. Turns out the Rubicon Fox shocks' roosters interfere with the plates, so I didn't put them on. On my YJ I've ripped the same rear shock mount off twice, so I was worried. On the JTR, it seems less likely to happen, so I'm over worrying about it. I'd still buy them, knowing this, for sure.

Had a set on the JL and when we traded it in, this was one of the first things we bought for the JT. Has come in handy when offroading and hitting rocks.
