Features & Product Details
TeraFlex has teamed up with Fox Racing Shox to develop a shock absorber that can meet the demands of serious off-road enthusiasts. These Shock absorbers feature an Aircraft-grade 6061-T6 heat treated aluminum shock body, and the long travel performance shock has TeraFlex specific valving.
The research and development with Fox Racing Shocks involved rigorous testing in the deserts of Southern California, which resulted in one of the most performance oriented race-ready shocks available on the market today.
Looking deeper into the shock absorber, you will find an impact cold forged body construction, with a hard anodized aluminum body for corrosion resistance, along with superior heat dissipation. The pressure balancing delivers superior handling characteristics to maintain maximum tire contact with the surface during all the points of the suspension cycling.
These have velocity sensitive valve plates, along with aircraft grade shock oil, and a 200 psi nitrogen gas charge which will give the driver optimal performance, and superior temperature resistant properties.
The external remote reservoir helps with heat, and has been designed to separate the shock oil from the high pressure nitrogen. And the internal floating piston (IPF) will reduce cavitation so it can provide consistent performance under repeated high intensity shock cycling.
Lift Heights are based off of Teraflex Suspension Kits only.
*NOTE - Due to varying lift heights we always recommend you measure the shock length you need to ensure proper fitment on your application*
