Give yourself a smoother off-road driving experience when you install the Teraflex SpeedBump Bump Stops Front and Rear 3in Lift in your off-road vehicle. Designed to absorb the harsh impact of back country and uneven roadways, the bump stops reduce the suspension compression and allow for better control of the vehicle. The bump stops use a closed cell nitrogen charge that retains the effectiveness and keeps the compression intact. The external shaft is self-lubricating, allowing the bump stops to work continuously without wearing out. The Teraflex SpeedBump is designed with an easy bolt-on system that requires no welding and is maintenance free. The system also requires no adjustment or tuning to operate effectively.
The Terflex Speedbump Bump Stops Front and Rear 3in Lift are designed to fit off-road vehicles like the Jeep JK Wrangler and gives you better vehicle control whether it is on back roads or highways with uneven pavement. The system is a true progressive bumpstop with a design that prevents the system from dissipating or fading out. To install the Speedbump bump stop, the original factory bumpstop bell needs to be removed from the vehicle in order to bolt the new bumpstop in place. Installation instructions are provided as well as strike pads and adjustment spacers. The good- I love the front Speed Bumps! I used the adjustable lower bumps that came with my Metal Cloak lift, which was good so I can adjust the space before I get into the Speed Bump. No more jarring impact when charging over a bump into the trail. The bad- with my 3.5in Metal Cloak lift, the rear Speed Bump only had about 1/2in space to the upper bump. This meant any small bump in the road and I was into the bump, no suspension travel. Tera Flex told me this was normal. I took the rear bumps out, so big waste of money. Going to go with Metal Cloak bumps in the rear. Wish I saved the money and bought fronts only. (ratings are for the front only.)
