Very solid bumper, easy to fit and strong connector to the frame, the trailer hitch receiver is incorporated well and doesn’t detract from the rugged look
Exactly what I was looking for - plain, simple, bolt-on. Took about 40 mins to install by myself. All holes matched up easily (2016 JKU) and precisely. No frills, good looking bumper. The only complaint I have is they welded the hitch receiver in the wrong way. The holes to secure a hitch are on the top and bottom so I cannot access the top hole since it is up inside the bumper. Will have to drill my own holes on the sides where they should be.
Solid. Only 1 hole didn't line up and that was for the hitch. Not that bad of an install. Took my time and it looks good.
For the money It’ll get the job done long as you don’t do any flexing. The bumper hits the body tub when you’re on the rocks. Had to take the plasma cutter and cut 1/2in off the inside edge to keep it from hitting. The coating is great and seems to hold up good when compared to other brands. When installing, the frame mounts were a little off making a drift punch very handy. It is a bit heavy so it’s best to have a helper when installing. Install wasn’t too bad. Kinda straight forward. Summary: It’s a great looking bumper for the money long as you’re planning on putting it on mall crawlers.
First, I have to brag.........I, a 5' 5in, 140 lb. female, put this 105 lb bumper on by myself!! My husband was at work, so I thought what the heck, I'll give it a try. This is a well made, heavy bumper. As stated in other reviews, a couple of the holes in the hitch plate do not line up properly, even after drilling out holes as directed in instructions. I was able to get 2 out of the 4 to work. Then went to the hardware store and bought 2 that are slightly smaller in diameter. I recommend thoroughly drilling the holes out, even bigger than the 1/2in. Since I was working by myself and had to stop to think things through and get creative with how to hold the thing, it took me approximately 4 hours. Which, I don't think is actually bad at all considering. The bumper was very well packaged. I am happy with the look.
