The kit features matched amplifiers, a total of eight speakers for the front and rear of the vehicle, and a 12" subwoofer in a sealed enclosure, along with Metra’s vehicle-specific installation solutions designed to simplify the upgrade process. I wasn't looking to build a competition system, I just wanted my Jeep to sound better than it did from the factory. After installing the JP-PPKT, I can honestly say it exceeded my expectations. The thing that stood out first was how easy the installation was. I've installed audio equipment before, and usually there's at least one point where you're scratching your head trying to figure something out. That never happened with this kit. The instructions were clear, detailed, and included plenty of photos that matched exactly what I was seeing in the vehicle. Everything was laid out logically, and I appreciated that the guide didn't assume I was a professional installer. It walked through the process step-by-step, making it easy to stay on track. As for the sound, the difference was immediate. The factory system always sounded flat and lacked depth. With the JP-PPKT, the music feels alive. Vocals are clear, guitars and instruments are more defined, and the bass has the kind of impact you can actually feel without drowning everything else out.
