Made from CNC laser cut steel this mount is strong and durable without being a burden. Its unique design allows users to carry up to a 37" tire (if mounted using the HD hinged carrier, otherwise only a 35" tire will work) without obscuring access to the rear cargo area. Originally ordered the wrong one. Customer service was great at the return and getting me the correct mounting kit. I have this installed with the Teraflex hinge kit as well and everything is rock solid. Easy to install and can't wait to put the 37's on.

Good Stuff, like almost all Teraflex products! Buy with confidence. You can snug the tire down right onto the tailgate OR leave a little gap for an antenna mount or tools.

Carnage
When I upgraded to 37’s I knew I would need to replace my stock hinges and carrier. After doing a lot of research I decided to go with the Teraflex set up. I am so glad I did. This carrier is beefy and I have no doubt it will support my 37’s just fine. I would definitely recommend this set up for anyone needing a new spare tire carrier.

I added it to the hinge carrier now for future upgrades when I go larger. It is easy to install but the adjusting is a bit annoying. All in all not that hard.
