If your vehicle has larger tires, along with hydraulic-assisted steering, then it is necessary to reinforce the track bar, as well as the steering box. Eventually the chassis flex will get the best out of either of those components, and one or the other will eventually give out.

The factory track bar mount on the chassis is particularly vulnerable to extreme forces. If you crank on the steering wheel hard enough, you will tear the OE mount completely off of the frame. On the steering box, the internal bearings that support the output shaft are poorly positioned, and since the OE steering box is not serviceable, the only option is to replace the entire assembly.
