The TeraFlex JK front full float conversion kit was designed as an upgrade of the JK Dana 30 and 40 axles. As a full float conversion, it delivers a number of benefits over the factory unit bearing design. It is capable of reducing the bearing load by increasing the total distance between the outer and the inner wheel bearings within the hub. The bearings usually ride on a forged 4140 chromoly spindle which usually readily accepts low cost industry standard bearings as well as seals. Having incorporated an 8 on a 6.5inch wheel bolt pattern, its makes it possible to use one ton Dana 60 applications throughout. This unique design of the Tera Flex hub design usually allows for OE wheel speed sensors to be sealed from any damaging contaminants such as mud and rocks hence ensuring that data transmission is clear and constant and it maintains all its ABS and EPS functions. The Slimlock hub has a design that usually incorporates a high surface area engagement and offer extreme durability, it also features forged 4340 chromoly 35 spline stub shafts. The kit is especially useful for flat towing by allowing the hub to be set in unlocked position when in transport. The kit comes with a TeraFlex performance big rotor kit. It is worth mentioning that Dana 30 axles from 2007-2012 require new inner shafts that have larger u joint end forgings. The kit might not work with all wheels and it is therefore important to confirm fitment before having it installed.
