Reduce Bearing Load

Upgrading your Dana 30 or Dana 44 front axle with TeraFlex JK: Dana 30/44 Front Axle 8-Lug Locking Hub Conversion Kits will bring a number of benefits over the factory unit-bearing design. It can dramatically reduce bearing load through the increase of distance between inner and outer wheel bearings inside the hub. The bearings sit on a forged 4140 chromoly spindle that accepts low-cost industry standard seals and bearings. 8 on 6.5-inch wheel bolt pattern increases wheel-to-flange strength and durability over a 5-lug bolt pattern.

Durable and Reliable

The unique TeraFlex hub design seals the OEM wheel speed sensors from mud, rocks, and other trail hazards ensuring constant data transmission to maintain all ABS and ESP functions. The Slimlock Hub kit comes with forged 4340 chromoly 35-spline stub shafts. This unique TeraFlex hub design allows the OE wheel speed sensors to be sealed from damage, as well as mud and other components. This helps ensure clear, constant data transmission for maintenance of all ESP and ABS functions. This design also incorporates high surface area engagement for extreme durability. It is the perfect kit for flat towing, allowing hubs to be set in an unlocked position for transport, eliminating front driveline failures.

Note:

On 2007-2011 JK Wrangler/Unlimited models, recommend upgrading the stock master cylinder to Brake Master Cylinder Kit w/ Oversized Bore (#4303450).

All 2013-2018 JK Wrangler/Unlimited Dana 30 and Dana 44 axles use the same 1350 series U-joint 5-7166X.

Recommend replacing the inner seal when removing an axle shaft. As it makes sense to change both sides and both seals at the same time, the total install time will equal 4.9 hours. This install time includes both the driver and passenger side axle shafts, (2) inner seals, removal of differential, adding oil, and axle reassembly.

2007-2012 JK Wrangler/Unlimited Dana 30 axles require new inner shafts w/ larger U-joint end forgings to accommodate the larger u-joing end forgings.

Locking Hub Kits and Full-Float Kits may not work w/ all wheels. Please verify fitment before installation.

Due to Covid, this order took awhile to fill but once all the parts finally arrived and I got to installing I couldn't be happier, Following the included instruction the process was fairly easy. required a few speciality tools, I had to purchase but was able to find at O'Reilys. This install may be a bit complicated for a novice, but I'd definitely recommend doin the install yourself to get to know all the methods involved incase you ever do have some trail damage, it would be good to know this setup inside and out. have a more knowledgable friend help you.. The Item looks amazing on the jeep and adds some much needed new Functionality.
