In the past I had a 50" light bar and didn't like the noise and space it took up. I went on trips and my fog lights and headlights were more than enough to see ahead of my vehicle and illuminate the dark path ahead. I always knew I would add some lights later on once I had a 8 switch system installed. I decided to go with the FlexEra 3 and mount them on my A pillar. The install was super easy. 2 bolts for the mount, 1 nut for the light, then run the wire harness under the wiper cowl and hook it up. I tested these lights and they have a great pattern. They light up everything in my vision. The ground in front of the jeep, out front in the distance, and to the sides. When they are on I can't even tell if my headlight or highbeams are in use. All I can see is the light from the FlexEra 3s. The amber backlight is great when you want to be visible to other people but don't want to blind anyone that may be in front of the vehicle. I only rate 4 stars for value because you have to buy the additional bezels and covers. If the clear covers came instead of the black KC covers and the black bezel was default it would be a 5 star everything. Luckily the price isn't much but I ordered the amber and clear covers and the black bezels and it added another $50 to my price. You can't go wrong with these light. If you angle these out to the sides so they don't over lap in front of your vehicle you really don't need any other lights.
