The Rugged Ridge Front DRL Chop Brackets will Illuminate and Accommodate Oversized Off-Road Tires It is one thing to have tough looking fender flares on your Jeep, but adding some additional lighting functionality will give a newfound appreciation for this otherwise overlooked part of your build. Modifying your flares with the Rugged Ridge Fender Chop Brackets is easy and the new look you will get is nothing short of heroic. There is already existing factory fender flare lighting, but by removing it, you will have the extra clearance to accommodate oversized tires you will add more space between you and the trail obstacles. Installing these rugged steel chop brackets lends support to the front of the factory fender flare which adds a fearlessly aggressive new look. Cool White Running Light For the times when you are not trekking the trails, the Rugged Ridge Front DRL Chop Brackets provide a cool white running light that can be used for casual daytime driving. The radical dual-output DRL tubes can also turn a vivid amber which is the same hue as your Wrangler or Gladiator turn signals. These chop brackets come in pairs and are for Rubicon models. Each bracket features a matte black powder coat finish that blends seamlessly with the factory flare finish while adding extra protection against corrosion. The lights and brackets themselves are great. The crimps on the wiring were not done correctly and falling out. The relay was also obnoxious. I ended up cutting the relay portion out and using JScan to bypass the hyper flash and it has been great since. Much more affordable than other options which makes you feel less bad when you inevitably hit them with a tree or rock. By doing the full fender chop I was able to pull a bump stop puck front and rear and gain 1” of uptravel with no rubbing.

This fender chop light option is really nice. It looks so good on the Jeep it's as if it was OEM. I can't say enough good things about how it looks. If I have one complaint is that the white light output is just a little off from the headlight. It's a little softer white. Doesn't show in pictures but in person it's a little different. Minor complaint. Great product. I have had them on now for 6-9 months and no issues. I installed them by keeping my OEM fender liners. Takes a little time trimming the liner but the end result is just what I wanted.

Fast shipping. This install is not that hard just make sure to measure and use caution when trimming your fenders. Love the look and I get questions about them pretty regular. I like the additional clearance.

Relatively easy to install and the front end looks amazing after removing the clunky stock lights. The only issue I've had is the 3M tape didn't hold up well in regards to sticking to the inside of my fenders. Not a big deal because they did not flap much when driving at a high speed but I did grab some gorilla glue so I'll see how that works. Not a big deal though. Very happy with the product!
