TeraFlex ST Dual Rate Pneumatic Front Sway Bar (Non-Coilover)
JT/JL/JK
Features & Product Details
Jeepers have had a love hate relationship with their sway bars, because disconnecting them for the trail has always been a hassle. The TeraFlex ST Dual Rate Pneumatic Sway Bar eliminates the problem with a simple push of a button, offering seamless transitions between on-road stability and off-road flexibility.
The Sway Bar offers seamless on-road and off-road performance with the flip of a switch. Designed with quiet, bushing-mounting, that provides flex without binding while maintaining factory-like highway manners. The system features forged arms with two torsion adjustment holes and 4140 chromoly torsion bars for stable highway driving. When disconnected, the lighter trail-rate sway bar remains engaged, offering off-camber control and full suspension articulation without limiting flex. The street torsion bar disconnects using your onboard air compressor and re-engages easily without requiring a level vehicle. This design ensures no body roll with precise alignment dogs built into the actuator assembly.
The TeraFlex ST Dual Rate Pneumatic Sway Bar requires just 50 PSI to actuate, well within the capacity of most small air compressors. Installation is straightforward, with a direct bolt-on design that uses the factory sway bar mounting holes along with the included bushings and brackets. The system defaults to the street mode for stability during highway driving.
The kit comes complete with wiring, 6mm air lines, an ARB-style switch, and a solenoid for easy operation. For durability, the arms and torsion bars are e-dipped to resist corrosion, while the lock/release assembly features a hard anodized aluminum body with sealed internal lubrication. Hardened contact points and protective lip seals guard against water and debris. Machined torsion bar splines ensure perfect alignment with the link arm splines for smooth engagement, and the hardened trail bar cap is built heavy for off-road use.
