Built stout however they protrude outward and borderline rest on my leg while driving. If you have a dead pedal, you will definitely feel it rub against your leg. My wife nailed her leg on it while getting in. I would have liked them to be slightly less wide for my purposes. Pretty easy to figure out how to install but also did not come with instructions which required me to do some basic research. I will likely be returning these. Installed on a 2013 JKUR.
