Fox Racing 2.0 Performance Series Steering Stabilizer
LJ/TJ/XJ
Features & Product Details
NOTE: Because this is not a thru-shaft style stabilizer, this unit will steer your vehicle slightly left. To avoid this, purchase a thru-shaft style stabilizer.
Enhance the steering of your vehicle when you install the Fox Racing 2.0 Performance Series Steering Stabilizer. The steering stabilizer provides better control and has a quicker response time than standard stabilizers. The stabilizer also includes an integrated reservoir and provides additional fluid capacity.
The Fox Racing stabilizer is designed with a track bar relocation bolt that allows the bar to be moved up and down for better positioning. Made of 6061-T6 aluminum with black anodized CNC machined billeting. The steering stabilizer shaft features a 5/8 inch hard chrome alloy steel with heat treating.
NOTE: THIS IS A PRESSURIZED STEERING STABILIZER, AND WILL LIKELY PUSH YOUR VEHICLE TO THE LEFT WHILE DRIVING.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Q: What does a steering stabilizer do?
A: A steering stabilizer helps reduce steering wheel vibrations, bump steer, and feedback from rough terrain or larger tires, resulting in smoother and more controlled handling.
Q: Does it help with death wobble?A: While a steering stabilizer can reduce symptoms like wobble or shake, it won’t fix the root cause of death wobble. Proper alignment, tire balance, and inspection of suspension and steering components are essential.
Q: Will this improve on-road steering feel?A: Yes, it can reduce wandering and jittery steering, especially on lifted Jeeps with oversized tires.
