Features & Product Details
SwayLOC is the original dual-rate sway bar that provides different control rates for off-road and on-road use.
SwayLOC improves balance and control while providing full articulation during off-road use. It also delivers near OEM ride quality during on-road use that is more firm than the stock sway bar.
The dual rates are achieved through the use of two concentric torsion bars. SwayLOC uses a simple latching mechanism to easily change between off-road and on-road use without having to struggle with disconnect links or having to be on level ground. The proven cam latching system guarantees that SwayLOC engages in the correct position for on-road use and disengages for off-road use when chassis flex releases pressure on the latch.
The Manual “Flip a Lever” version is simply that, flip the lever on the latch rearward sets the latch to disengage for low off-road resistance. Turning it off sets it to engage for high on-road resistance. The spring in the latch allows you to select the operation by flipping the lever and the spring will pull the latch open or slide engaged when it should.
The remote controlled version works using an air operated latch (2). The latch is controlled by an in-cab switch or automatically when equipped with AiROCK(3). Turning on the lighted in-cab toggle switch automatically sets the latch to disengage for low off-road resistance. Turning it off sets it to engage for high on-road resistance.
This kit comes with aluminum brackets to mount SwayLOC in the stock sway bar location.
Some aftermarket bumpers or skid plates might require modifications to allow clearance for SwayLOC.
A multi-piece linkage kit is included to create a variety of linkage lengths to fit most lift heights from stock to over 10″.

Slightly stiffer than stock on road which improves handling. Soft off-road, does not limit travel, even with 12” of shock travel. Longer arms than stock improve sway bar and link angles throughout travel. Noticeable improvement on drops vs disconnecting the sway bar completely (I had the Rubicon sway bar and JKS quick disconnects). The Jeep settles much more quickly and feels more balanced off camber. Easy to use. Make sure to read ALL of the instructions first. There is a design improvement that affects installation and part contents that is noted in the second set of instructions. Will interfere with the JK AEV front bumper and winch plate vacuum pump relocation. The included spacers and reinforcement brackets for the rod end/Heim joint links are intended for the stock sway bar link attachment points on the stock axle. I have a Prorock 44 Unlimited housing with a Synergy raised track bar bracket and sway bar link mounts. Modification of the included spacers would be required for my application (In progress). In the meantime, I chose to leave the JKS disconnects in place. To do this, I put a zip tie around the arm, to keep the SwayLOC latch from contacting the JKS Link when in off-road mode. The latch bolt rests on the square end of the zip tie.
These aren't marketed like the other popular brand, but they've been around a while and they work. I love the ability to have the best of 2 worlds. I said and more... because they've innovated from older generations (washers replaced with collars, strong bracket mounting, etc) to address legacy concerns.
