Heavy-Duty Construction The Teraflex Heavy Duty Ball Joints are made from a 4140 chromoly steel for extreme strength and long-lasting functionality. Additionally, the ball joints are heat treated in order provide incredible fatigue and abrasion resistance, ultimately increasing the lifespan of these units. These ball joints also feature metal bearings to handle rotational load and a threaded cup, carbon steel spring plate for superior performance under your Jeep's weight.

Ball Joints w/out Knurl won’t score the inner knuckle and open the bore.

Ball Joints w/ Knurl are for inner knuckles that have a “loose press fit” due to repeated ball joint replacement and/or where knurled ball joints have been installed.

We installed these on my wife's 2010 JKU. This was our first time doing this job and we were not aware it is best to use a specific, angled cup with the ball joint press (they are available off Amazon of course). Teraflex customer service was awesome with helping us determine the problem, replacing some parts. Their overall customer service and the experience we had was outstanding. We couldn't recommend them more as a company. Since the install they have performed flawlessly and they helped take up the little bit of play she had in the steering.
