Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Q: What is the Griffin Steering Attenuator and why is it beneficial?
A: The Griffin Attenuator reduces bump steer, vibration, and harsh steering feedback. It improves on-road ride quality, steering stability, and driver comfort—especially important for lifted Jeeps running larger tires.
Q: Does this draglink require drilling?A: No. This version uses a no-drill tapered insert that installs into the factory passenger knuckle, allowing for top-mount installation without modifying or enlarging the hole.
Q: What lift height is this draglink designed for?A: Designed for 3.5 to 6+ inches of lift. It must be used with a raised front track bar bracket to keep the draglink and track bar in the same plane and prevent bump steer.
Q: Will this help reduce bump steer?A: Yes. The top-mount design flattens draglink geometry on lifted Jeeps, which, paired with a raised track bar bracket, helps eliminate bump steer and improve handling.

REVIEWS & CUSTOMER MEDIA
I installed this drag link along with the Yeti XD tie rod, and matched stabilizer with related bracketry. As an enthusiast mechanic I left all the installation and alignment to an expert, so I can't really speak to ease of install - only that it was more involved than my skill level. As for performance, the replacement of most of my steering components with higher quality parts yielded a much smoother ride and eliminated a lot of vibration and suspension induced bump steer. Would recommend.
