The Prerunner is a desert inspired, aggressive styled, wide open approach to the Jeep JK bumper world. This isn’t your neighbor’s cookie-cutter bumper. This bumper was originally designed for our shop JK which splits its time between the rocks and the lakebeds and we wanted it to represent both of those worlds. This product is purely unique in every way, from its fully-boxed extended frame horns, dimple-died hoop gussets, mid-mounted winch plate and its best in class approach angle. Everything you need to assault the desert or to crawl the toughest trails is packaged into this light weight bumper. It is built from 3/16″, 1/8″ and ¾” A36 American made steel and is CNC cut, formed and MIG/TIG welded to perfection in-house and the base model comes in at a light weight 46lbs. We offer two hoop options, the winch hoop (lower profile) and a stinger (taller hoop) that is fully welded and gusseted out of 1 3/4 tubing and 1/8″ steel plate.
The Prerunner does require the crash bar and also the front frame rails to be cut/removed.
The 2012+ JK’s require relocation of the factory vacuum pump.
