Features & Product Details
The ultra-simple TeraFlex JL 4dr: 2.5” Coil Spring Base Lift Kit comes with the basic parts needed to fit larger tires for increased ground clearance for better off-road capability without compromising on road handling.
Does NOT include shocks. We recommend Falcon Performance SP2 Mode Adjust Shocks or TeraFlex 9550 VSS Twin-Tube Shocks. These are the only shock absorbers engineered to work with TeraFlex lift coil springs to improve both compression and rebound for optimal vehicle stability. 2.5” Coil Spring Base Lift Kits are offered with TeraFlex 9550 VSS Twin-Tube Shocks or without shock absorbers. Falcon Performance Shocks are available separately.
Max Tire Diameter:
• Sport/Sahara Fenders: 35” (w/ 3” front & 2.5” rear bump stops)
• Rubicon Fenders: 35” (w/ 2” front & 2” rear bump stops)
• Rubicon Fenders: 37” (w/ 2.5” front & 3” rear bump stops)

The following components are recommended to optimize caster and pinion angles and restore factory steering and suspension geometry: Front Lower Sport Control Arm Kit (# 1253000), or Front Control Arm Sport Brackets (# 1938125), or adjustable 8-Arm Alpine [IR] Short Control Arm Kit (Alpine: # 1416610 | Alpine IR: 1416510), Rear Track Bar Bracket (2.5-4.5” Lift) (# 1953600), and/or adjustable Alpine IR Front Track Bar (# 1753420).
• Requires aftermarket wheels w/ 4.75” backspacing or less – or Offset Wheel Adapters (# 1057000) for stock wheels – NOT INCLUDED.

I replaced the Dynatrac springs I had on my Jeep with these due to the Dynatrac springs having developed a sag on the right side. I know this is common the JKs and JLs, but this was the worst I'd ever seen at almost 2" in sag from left to right. The Teraflex springs did lift the Jeep a little more, as expected since they're 2.5" vs 2" for the Dynatracs, which I ended up preferring now. Combined with the Falcon shocks I had to buy to replace the leaking Fox shocks that came with the Dynatrac kit, these springs feel perfect to me. I much prefer the ride feel overall. The Jeep just feels more planted, and feels flatter thru turns, for a lifted Jeep on 35s anyways. I did put RockJock spring spacers on both the front and rear right side with these springs to make sure everything was leveled out, and the Jeep sits within .5" left to right now with a full tank of fuel, and pretty much dead level when below half a tank. I've only had these springs in for about 3 months now, but they have around 7500 miles on them and a couple offroad trips in that time. They have not dropped at all so far. The Dyantrac kit was the first time I've not gone with a full Teraflex kit on one of my Jeeps (5 different JKs and this JL now), and I've learned my lesson. Just buy the Teraflex kit up front. It might be a few more bucks initially, but it'll save you alot more in the long run. I ended up having to replace everything from the Dynatrac kit, and it only had 2 years of use on it.
I put this on my wife's jeep it is fantastic. easy to install. northridge shipping was fast.
