JT/JL 2.0L/3.0L/6.4L
Features & Product Details
Heavy-Duty Cast Aluminum Transmission Pan for 2018-2025 Jeep JL/JT 2.0L/3.0L/6.4L, 850RE/8HP75
Excessive heat kills transmission life. As temperature rises, transmission fluid viscosity decreases, weakening the lubricating film that protects gears and bearings. This could cause premature wear and potential failure. Cast from high-grade A356.0-T6 aluminum alloy, the PPE transmission pan offers one quart of additional fluid capacity, ensuring long-lasting heat management and performance.
The deep external cooling fins maximize the heat-wicking surface area, effectively dissipating heat to keep your transmission cool under pressure. These fins also add strength to the bottom of the pan and enhance impact resistance.
The built-in baffles at the bottom of the pan increase contact between the fluid and the cast-aluminum surfaces, enhancing heat transfer. These baffles also reduce fluid sloshing, ensuring consistent fluid pickup and stable transmission performance. Together with the longitudinal external fins, they form a stiff, cross-bracing structure, distributing loads better and increasing impact resistance.
The factory plastic pan and its non-replaceable filter must be discarded with every fluid change. In contrast, a replaceable filter bolts directly inside the PPE pan, making fluid services easier and more cost effective. The PPE drain plug is equipped with a powerful, high-temperature-rated neodymium magnet that captures ferrous metal particles, providing additional protection for your transmission.
Keep your 8-speed running longer, healthier, and cooler with PPE.

A combination of this transmission PAN with Amsoil transmission fluid in the specific High heat/high towing "signature" one, i immediately noticed that the Jeep was way more limber and way more responsive. It was almost like if the jeep had lost half of his weight. On top of that, probably because of the extra capacity for more fluid and due to the construction of the cooling fins, I didn't notice a considerable dropping of the temperatures. I should have done this earlier,

Specially if you tow, every degree of heat you can drop… do it, it will equal to longevity.

dropped my transmission temp by 10ish degrees.... doing spot checks on temps I was always around 200 degrees, since putting the new pan on the jeep is running 190 ish degrees. DO MAKE SURE YOU GET THE RIGHT TRANSMISSION OIL.... but if you didn't... that oil drain REALLY works well. Was super easy to install, minus laying under the jeep pumping fluid back into the transmission.
