Installed easily, no leaks. Leaks down slightly over night. Still a big improvement from what it was
It's a serious well made piece of kit no issues there and clever. It's tricky to install for a weekend worrier like myself due in part to the Pacifica's access. The real killer is the ease of dropping bolts that then fall into the engine well. If you're doing the oil cooler that would be the perfect time to install. It went and out several time due to fit issues and/or dropped fittings, you really need 3 hands, and took way longer than I hoped, again due to access/dropped fittings etc. Once in it seems to function as designed. I had to evacuate it several times to take it in and out due to incorrect seating and oil leaking, and that worked well. My fault not the unit. It takes a range of filters which frees you up to use a greater range of filters. I happened to have 1/2 a case of ford filters for the old 4.0 ranger and they work well. I'm wondering if that larger metal case up out of the engine is working as an oil cooler, seems like it and seems to increase oil volume. At $350, it's not exactly cheap, though it is well made, but cannot say I notice an difference, time will tell I suppose. If I could tell a difference the rating might be higher.
I bought this back in October of 23. So it's been installed for some time now. It doesn't hold the oil in filter if you let it let it sit for a couple weeks. I had leak down even over night a few times. So I'm not really sold on it doing what it is supposed to do. So far i would say it holds the oil in filter half the time. Knowing this i would not buy it again for another vehicle. It doesn't make changing the filter that much easier cause you have to air on hand to bleed out the filter. I not to sure i like blowing air back into the crank case. Having second thought's
Generally straightforward instructions. Double check your socket sizes and you'll be fine. Actually shot myself in the foot during install and submitted "Contact Us" directly with Baxter. Received a call from Kevin Baxter on a Sunday following up on the question and he immediately helped me out.
Easy to install and use. Definitely does the trick to protect against dry start. Shame on Chrysler to do this to make more profit by thinking people don’t have common sense in purposely knowing the oil drips out of the oil filter without a check valve this eventually causing costly repairs. Dodge brother would turn in their graves!! Baxter provided immediate and excellent customer service; I write them a question and immediately that night I received a call from the manufacturer to provide me with the correct answer, thanks, 5 star review but should be a 10 star review!

Q: Does this fit a 2021 Jeep Wrangler with the V6 3.6L Pentastar? Cheg9 months ago
In the fitment list it mentions that this fits 2015 to 2020 Jeep Wranglers V6 3.6L and 2020 to 2022 Jeep Gladiators V6 3.6L. So does this cover a 2021 Jeep Wrangler V6? I believe the Wrangler and Gladiator share the same 3.6L engine. Thank you! -

A: Yes, the JT and JL share the same engine, and this will work for you, as long as you don't have the e-torque.
