The Atlas is pre-configured which includes the adapter housing necessary when replacing the stock Magna transfer case.

Atlas includes: 50-9901 adapter and spud shaft kit. 303030 Cable shifter kit. The Atlas minus the gear ratio and the front and rear yoke. 301603 Site tube. 300477A computer integrated adapter for the elec-tronics.

We also offer complete units that will allow you to retain the stock drive shafts.

JL Jeeps equipped with an automatic transmission will also require a Transmission Control Module flash to operate correctly with the new Atlas transfer case. Jeep coded the stock transfer case ratio of either the 2.72:1 or the 4.0:1 into this module and any different ratio in the transfer case will put the vehicle into a limp mode. A Jeep programmer like a Z Automotive or the Vgate OBD2 code reader with the Canbus phone app from jscan, work great. The exact ratios for the Atlas are required for repro-gramming the module. We round up or down to the decimal on our ratios; however, the Jeep computer module will accept the three places right of the decimal. The ratios are as follows: 2.0:1 is exactly 2.11:1, 3.0:1 is 3.030:1, 3.8:1 is 3.824:1, 4.3:1 is 4.286:1, and 5.0:1 is 5.048:1.
