Do you have plenty of tactical MOLLE bags with no solid way to mount them? Look past rag tag seat back holders and opt for the steel MOLLE storage available for your Jeep Wrangler. This heavy duty, lock box mounts on the inside of the Jeep Wrangler JL tailgate providing ample secure storage and a MOLLE grid integrated into the lid for standard attachment of unlimited MOLLE options. The door folds down creating a worktable for cooking, quick sorting and access of the lock box contents. The Tailgate MOLLE Storage from Tuffy comes equipped with internal gear loops, 3-point security lock and MOLLE grid storage.

The entire Tuffy Tailgate MOLLE Box is constructed using welded steel, heavy duty fasteners and is covered with a durable textured powder coat finish. The Tailgate MOLLE Box installs to your Jeep Wrangler Tailgate Rail mounts using standard hand tools with or without an OEM hardtop. Featuring Tuffy’s Pry-Guard Locking System with a 10-tumbler double bitted security lock with built in weather seals.

We engineered it to work seamlessly with the Tuffy JL Tailgate Enclosure to double down on your secure cargo storage options.

I had seen the non molle version of this lockbox in person and it is perfect for what I need. So I ordered the molle version figuring the added storage flexibility could only be a benefit. Turns out the molle version is half the depth of the non-molle version, 3" vs 6". This really needs to be called out on the product page. Even Tuffy buries the dimensions on their product page. Otherwise, the product seems well built, the powder coat was flawless, but now I have to return it and order the other version.
