Features & Product Details
The Rugged Ridge Arcus Front Stubby Bumper for 2018-19 Jeep Wrangler JL and Gladiator JT is anything but your typical budget-minded bumper. The Arcus represents a daring design departure from the typical, with an alluring stamped-steel body usually reserved for bumpers costing twice the price. This patented design utilizes a high-strength 11-gauge steel shell surrounding a ¼-inch thick steel winch plate, capable of holding most model winches up to a 12.5k lb. rating (accepts Hawse or roller-style fairleads). The Arcus is no lightweight when it comes all those cool options you find on pricier bumpers either, only the Arcus Stubby Bumper Set makes them standard equipment. Take our massive 1-inch thick recovery hooks that literally scream HARDCORE…each hook is dual cross-drilled, so they accept both 7/8 and ¾-inch D-rings. Clever recesses in the bumper offer direct frame access for effective lifting of the Jeep with a hi-lift jack. Built-in fog light pockets accent the overall appearance and accept both factory Sport & Sahara fog light assemblies with no modification. Of course, LED lighting can be fitted using available mounting brackets (11232.23/11232.24). The Arcus Stubby Front Bumper features a high-quality satin black powder coat finish with a fine texture, because nobody said brawny can’t be beautiful.
NOTE: Will not work with the Sport model with LED lights.

Installed this in December and then did a 5000 mile road trip. Stayed tight, concealed the winch well, and took a beating well.
Easy to install. Would definitely recommend doing it with at least two people. Very strong, feels very durable. I do wish the mounting on the fog lights had a little bit more rigidity to it but overall great product.
I ordered this bumper and the first package I got was was incomplete. Only had the stamped bumper part. No hardware, winch plate or anything. Just the stamped bumper shell. I contacted Northridge 4x4 and they took care of everything. The replacement bumper had all parts needed. Now the quality was OK. Scuffs on the paint of every item. Surface rust on one of the D-Ring mounts. Everything mounted op fine and with little issue. Fit and finish was good. Overall the bumper was just Ok, but Northridge 4x4 ordering and customer support is top notch!
I've been eyeing this bumper since they unveiled it at SEMA and was waiting last year to purchase it for our 2019 JLUR. We ended up going a different direction so we could get our winch mounted. Currently building a 2020 Gladiator Rubicon and chose this bumper for its looks, and lighter weight since its a stamped design. Love the looks of it! Being a fan of the factory steel Mopar bumpers, this one looks just as good if not better. Install was pretty simple but the directions can be a little confusing in a few areas. Here are a few things I took away from it. 1. You do NOT need any other part number for mounting the stock Rubicon LED foglights! They four mounting holes line up perfectly. 2. Be careful with your winch selection. I have a Warn Zeon 10-S that BARELY fits. Its so snug that the brackets with the welded nuts for the inside bolts on the frame wouldnt clear the winch in the orientation they are supposed to go. We had to flip them in order to get it to mount. 3. I still have a concern with the winch plate. The center portion thats cutout right in front of the drum still seems a bit high to me and Im concerned it might rub the synthetic line as it spools from the bottom of the drum. I need to find a way to test this without ruining my line. Outside of that, I love it and would definitely recommend it.
