Features & Product Details
STEER SMARTS is proud to present our most EXTREME steering linkage “The YETI XD" Series linkage equipped with our GRIFFIN XD Attenuator. We applied our 85 years of steering “lessons learned” to develop the strongest most durable linkage ever built for the Wrangler.
The YETI XD Draglinks are a complete bolt-on draglink. The YETI XD Draglinks install in just minutes and bolts to the factory tapered knuckle hole and the factory pitman arm hole.
***NOTE*** A MINIMUM LIFT HEIGHT OF 4" ( AND CORRECT BUMP STOP) IS REQUIRED FOR A TOP-MOUNT DRAGLINK. PART #79022001 (TRACK BAR RELOCATION BRACKET) IS NECESSARY WHEN FLIPPING YOUR DRAGLINK - IT MAINTAINS PROPER TRACK BAR AND DRAGLINK GEOMETRY. FOR THOSE RUNNING METAL CLOAK LIFTS, WE DO NOT RECOMMEND A TOP MOUNT DRAGLINK FOR THEIR LIFT KITS D/T INTERFERENCE ISSUES.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Q: What does the bottom mount draglink do?
A: The draglink connects your steering box to the passenger-side knuckle. The bottom mount version maintains the OEM-style mounting position, providing a direct bolt-on solution with improved strength and handling over stock.
Q: Is any drilling or modification required?A: No. This is a 100% bolt-on kit that installs into the factory draglink and stabilizer mount locations with no drilling or cutting.
Q: Is the draglink adjustable?A: Yes. The YETI XD draglink features a no-slip, clamp-style adjuster for easy on-vehicle adjustments to correct steering wheel position.

Wasn’t sure if this was a gimmick or a legit performance enhancement. What I found is that on the trail, there seems to be little to no difference over a normal dragline. Where is shines is on road; reducing many of the road vibrations that transmit to the steering wheel. For long drives, this really does reduce the amount of fatigue normally experienced through the steering wheel.

Q: Minimum lift requirement for clearance? Kyle4 years ago
Is there any clearance issues if I only have a 2 inch spacer lift right now with an aftermarket Terraflex steering stabilizer on the yeti HD tie rod? It is tight in there.
