RockJock's Trac Bar Relocation and Ram Assist Mount Axle Bracket Kit for JL Wrangler, JL Unlimited and JT Gladiator vehicles is designed specifically to be used in conjunction with our High Steer Knuckles.

This integrated trac bar relocation and ram assist mounting bracket raises your trac bar 2 in. and corrects its geometry to prevent you from incurring any bump steer as well as giving you a solid mounting point for your hydraulic steering assist ram. The bottom side of the bracket provides a skid plate that protects your ram from rocks.

The large axle bracket, as well as the small bracket for use on the driver’s side of the axle to relocate the sway bar end link mounting point, easily install, but do require some minor welding. However, both brackets can be mounted solidly enough with the bolts to allow you to drive to a welder if need be.

We recommend buying this bracket in our complete High Steer Knuckle Kit so that you are ensured a complete system that includes everything you need to get the job done. The use of our front track bar forged, organically shaped front trac bar is also strongly encouraged, so that all components nest together for maximum up travel as engineered.

Fitment Specs.:

For use on any factory JL or JT front differential, or any aftermarket replacement axle that features factory specification inner “C” knuckles and up to 3 1/2" diameter axle tubes.

Brackets provide new sway bar link mounting holes that are raised 2 1/8” higher than stock (sway bar link lengths must be adjusted to accommodate this).

Requires a hydraulic assist steering ram stroke of 7.375” to achieve full potential (factory steering radius)

Notes:

For optimum performance of this kit, we recommend the use of our trac bar and our adjustable bump stop kit.

This bracket is intended for use in conjunction with common PSC ram assist steering kits.

Much thicker steel than I expected — the main section is 1/4" and the ends are a full 3/8". I originally bought this just to mount my ram and raise the track bar up to meet my high-steer knuckles, but after seeing it in person and getting through the install, I'm convinced it does more than that. It noticeably stiffens up the cast FAD housing and ties it into the axle tubes. Between this and my Artec truss, I've got real confidence in the Dana 44 holding up to 40s for mild off-roading.
