Features & Product Details
Impressive Utility for Off-Road Recoveries
Typically, if you wanted to fit a winch on your Jeep's build it would require first investing in a pricey aftermarket front bumper that could accept a winch. Now it's easier than ever with the Grimm Offroad Steel Bumper Winch Plate for your Jeep JT/JL. This winch mounting plate was specifically engineered to handle pulls of up to 14,000 lbs with minimal deflection and no deformation. Moreover, it accepts winches with a standard 10 x 4.5" bolt pattern so it will be easy to mount a winch to your Jeep without compromise. An integrated fairlead backing plate and fairlead face-plate are included so all you'll need to worry about is picking what winch will best fit your specific build
Premium Construction & Warranty Info
The Grimm Offroad Bumper Winch Plate was constructed using laser cut and CNC formed 1/4" high-strength steel to provide maximum strength and long-lasting functionality that you'll be sure to love. The quality construction of this unit is then paired with a 2-stage black powder-coat finish to combat the damaging affects of rust and corrosion for a factory look. CAD designed and FEA tested, this winch will be able to handle just about anything you throw at it. When it comes to installation, all you'll need are a few basic hand tools and a little bit of your time without the need for any further modifications. Proudly made in the USA, Grimm Offroad backs this kit with a Limited Lifetime Warranty to help keep your investment protected.

Item came complete with all of the needed hardware and was easy to install. Used it with both a factory plastic bumper, with modifications to the bumper, and the factory metal bumper.

Love how this winch plate is a 1 piece design. Works well with warn winch. Very strong.

Don’t make my mistake and only watch the video. Also read the online instructions. I believe the video uses the factory bolts and for me they did not fit at the frame/skid plate mount the bolts provided do. The video also skips torquing before you land the winch. This was not easy for me but I am not a car guy. I’ve just started to really do my own work and this took me a couple days only because I was unsure on routing power etc (pop the passenger side grill a bit and you’ll find a good route). Also if you need a front plate based on state requirements something to mount as this kit doesn’t come with a place to mount a plate.

Perfect fit. Bolt right in. No trimming needed with Warn VR 10k. Looks factory when done. Great design. Will drain well. Get a fairlead standoff or lay flat hook to finish it off

Worked great with the Mopar steel bumper and the Apex Badlands 12k winch. I rerouted the power out of the side of the winch, but otherwise no modifications. Install was super easy and parts were high quality.
