Featuring a standard definition 480i camera, this camera won't be as good as your vehicle's backup cam because there is no high-definition input in your radio. The Tazer mini programmer was included in order to activate the "cargo camera" input on your screen, and also offers tons of different tweaks and adjustments to make your vehicle run how it was designed to. If the Tazer is present and connected, the camera can be activated at any time, in any drive mode, and at any speed. Give yourself a better view of what's in front of you by picking up this Z Automotive Camera and Tazer Kit today!

Note: Cargo camera input is not a Hi-Definition input like the backup camera, so the video quality will not be as good! This is a high-quality standard definition (480i) camera. There is no way to add a high-definition cargo camera input to the radio.

A: It plugs into the SGW (Security Gateway) bypass cable, located underneath the steering wheel. No cutting or splicing required.

Q: Do I need a computer or app to use the Tazer Mini?

A: No. All interactions happen using the vehicle's steering wheel buttons and cluster display, no external devices are required. However, you do need a computer for Tazer Mini updates.

Q: What happens if I take my Jeep in for service?

A: It is recommended to return your vehicle to stock settings using the Tazer before dealership visits.

Q: Is the Tazer Mini safe for my vehicle?

A: Yes. The Tazer Mini changes settings through your vehicle's CAN bus and doesnt permanently alter your factory software. It also includes the ability to "unmarry" to restore factory settings.

The Z Automotive Front Camera Kit is a camera input that requires a Tazer JL or Tazer JL Mini to activate. Once activated, you will be able to see the "cargo camera" input on your dashboard screen. Not only can you capture your adventures, but you can utilize this camera kit to aid your parking as well.

High-Quality Standard Definition

The Z Automotive Front Camera Kit input is not a Hi-Definition input like the backup camera, so the video quality will not be as good. However, the picture quality is still a high-quality standard definition (480i) camera which is sufficient for getting a quality video. If you were looking for a better picture quality, unfortunately there is no way to add a high-definition cargo camera input to the JL radio. Despite this, the camera is easy to install. It conveniently includes all of the hardware needed and requires no additional wire splicing or use of screws.
