When you install this fantastic addition to your Rubicon you can easily override the burdensome factory sway bar disconnect at anytime by turning a dial and drive your Rubicon the way you want to, using any gear or amount of articulation. Getting back on the road from the trails has never been easier either, just turn the dial and you're ready for the surface streets and highway again. With the EVO Manufacturing NoLimits Manual Sway Bar Disconnect you can ride the trails how you want to, without having any sway bar links to remove. Unrestricted Articulation The EVO Manufacturing NoLimits Manual Sway Bar Disconnect allows you to disconnect the sway bar at anytime no matter what gear you are in. There is no need to remove the sway bar links. You will get unrestricted articulation without any bounce, no pins to pull, and no chance of puncturing a tire. You can go from being on the trails to on the freeway seamlessly with the sway bar reconnecting it self to adjust to the more even ground. For proper use, you should use this product with the AEV ProCal Module or similar computer programmer. This is to ensure that the sway bar light on the dashboard is off.

Is it better than the electronic? No. However, rather than spend the $1000 on electronics that may ultimately fail again, this little devil allows you to bypass the computer. You'll want a way to disable the trouble light. I used my Jscan. AEV and Taser will also take care of it. Oh, one more thing. Read the directions. Like really read them. I drove around for a couple of days disconnected due to the spring length. If you have a bumper skid plate, you'll have to crawl up under the Jeep to connect/disconnect.

Perfect to replace non working 3 months ago

Rock knocked hole through housing allowing a water to short the circuit board. This is a cheaper more reliable replacement on the Rubicon and easy to reach. Turn right for "Rocky" terrain and made a laminated sway bar disconnected card to remind me not to go bombing down forest service roads :)

Pretty much what all the other reviews said. I had found a deal on a JLR sway bar so I swapped it in on my Sport S Gladiator and changed out the motor for this manual option. Works like a charm.

This is a great option for when your electric disconnect goes belly up. Installs in minutes and does the job perfectly. Remembering to twist the knob at the start and end of the trail run is the hardest part.

I got this so that I could get rid of the crappy design of the electronic disconnect on mu Rubicon. To me this is so much easier and safer than the electronic disconnect.

Q: Will this ignore/bypass my "sway bar disconnect unavailable" dash message? ElYorch5 months ago
I hit my smart bar module while offroading and I can't get the sway bar to electronically disconnet. I uninstalled and took aprt the smart bar module and all the parts look fine. I checked the fuse for the smart bad and checked the cable they seem fine but I can't solve issue. Will this manual disconnect still allow the sway bar to function regardless of dashboard messages?
