Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)
Q: What does the YETI XD Steering Stabilizer Relocation Bracket do?
A: This bracket relocates the steering stabilizer mount from the factory position to a higher and safer location on the tie rod, helping to protect the stabilizer from rocks, trail debris, and impacts.
Q: Why should I relocate my stabilizer?A: The factory mount hangs low and is vulnerable off-road. Relocating it higher on the tie rod significantly reduces the risk of damaging or bending the stabilizer on rocks or obstacles.
Q: Does this affect steering geometry or performance?A: No. It simply changes the stabilizer mounting point and does not alter geometry, steering feel, or suspension travel.

REVIEWS & CUSTOMER MEDIA
I have no idea how it happened but my Steer Smarts bracket is bent. It bent right at the points where the stabilizer tabs stick out. I'm running Full SS up front and the Falcon 2.2 adjustable, which I run on firm most of the time. There's no sign of damage to the stabilizer itself. You can see in the picture that there's 1/2" of travel left a full lock. I'm honestly baffled. I'm switching to the Clayton bracket, which has some triangulation that will hopefully help avoid this from happening again.

Nice heavy dusty relocation mounting bracket. Requires only one spot to be drilled out. Very easy installation and should hold up to anything.
