Hutchinson uses the same beadlock technology they use in their U.S. Military beadlock wheels, providing industry leading capability. The Rock Monster Beadlock wheels clamp the tire beads, securing the tire to the rim at lowered or even zero PSI. Lower tire pressures off-road provides increased traction, comfort, improved braking and steering control and more. Unlike most beadlocks on the market, the Rock Monsters are 100% street legal, ensuring you can not only tackle the hardest trails out there, but also confidently daily drive with these wheels. The Hutchinson Beadlocks provide clamps both sides of the tire, providing debead protection to both sides of the tires, further differentiating themselves from other beadlocks on the market.

Great rims lousy attention to detail 3 days ago

First let me start off by saying I LOVE these wheels. Nothing else like them but for $1000 a piece I expected better quality work. Firstly out of the box the long studs were in the wrong place. They should be symmetrically spaced in a isosceles triangle as 3 of them were. The 4th, not so much. Way off, and obvious when compared to the others. The paint/powder coat (looks like paint with a thick clear coat) started pealing around the lug holes immediately. American quality, Chinese construction. Other than subpar finish work the wheels are strong and tough and everything I could want. The cool thing about theses is that they are clam shell so you don't have to "pop" the bead. You can just unbolt them and use a tire iron to remove half. Then pop the other half out. Trailside you don't have a tire machine to pop a bead on a 37" or 40" Nitto. But with these its a breeze. I don't carry a spare anymore because I can take a tire off anywhere and patch it as good as any shop right on the side of the trail. Also because these are the ONLY double beadlocks (inside and outside bead) you can basically run a good sidewall mudder flat and get home. Oh yeah say goodbye to your center hub cover. Lost 3 of min within 12 hours. A year later the last one is still hanging tough though. Oh and they are heavy as sin especially when combined with a 38" Nitto Trail Grappler like mine.

Bought a set of 5.Excellent quality and fitment. Double beadlock alowed 5 psi for snow wheeling without a problem.

Lost the center caps within a few months. Replacements caps are a ripoff. Not recommended.
