ARB Winch and Bumper Package

The JL Wrangler and JT Gladiator winch bumper has been designed for those who want the protection of a steel bar, a mount for driving lights, and a winch - yet wish to retain the visual appeal of the seven-slot grill. Depending on the model specification and package, the Jeep JL and Jeep Gladiator JT feature several safety features including ParkSense front parking sensors (JT Sport S, Overland and Rubicon) and an integrated off-road camera (JL & JT Rubicon Trail Ready Package).

With the release of the new Jeep Wrangler JL, the engineers at ARB were excited to have the opportunity to develop a new style bumper which emanates ARBs heritage and pulls inspiration from the popular classic ARB Wrangler TJ Bumper.

Ruggedness is ensured by the new single-piece, press-formed center pan perfectly complemented by a bash plate along the base and a low-slung forward-facing 3-inch main hoop. The new Bondi Deluxe Winch Bumper is recovery ready with two highly visible red chassis mounted, rated recovery points and centrally located recovery jacking points. An integrated winch cradle can be separated from the bumper for easier installation, and the bumper comes with mounts for various styles of driving lights or antennas. Press-formed apertures in the outer wings provide fog light surrounds suitable for retention of the OE fog lights.

The Bondi Deluxe Winch Bumper is pretreated with a zinc shield for superior resistance to corrosion, and is finished with an ultra-low sheen, matte Integrit finish. To complete the look, the bash plate under panel is powder coated in silver offering an appealing contrast to the black bumper.

Inspired by the classic ARB Wrangler JK Stubby Bumper, the newly developed ARB Wrangler JL Stubby Bumper is designed for the off roader who is in need of a winch mounting platform while maintaining maximum clearance for larger diameter tires. Generally, vehicles that run larger than 37-inch tires may rub the wings of a traditional style ARB Deluxe Bumper.

The Stubby Bumper eliminates this issue on the Jeep Wrangler JL as it is only a little wider than the vehicles chassis. For recovery situations each wing section features jacking points suitable for an ARB JACK or mechanical recovery jack. Antenna tabs on main tube can be used for fitment of communication antennas or driving lights to the bumper.

Central on each outer wing section are 0.8 thick 350 grade recovery points which tie through the wings and into the chassis mounts directly giving the strongest possible recovery point. The winch platform will allow the mounting of most traditional low mount style Warn winches and narrow mount pattern competition type winches. A bracket is provided for those who wish to run their control box in the center of the bumper.

Two front ‘flip up’ style license plate mounts are provided. One to suit roller fairleads and one for the hawse type fairlead. These allow the number plate to be located over the fairlead and flipped up out of the way when the winch is in use.

Inspired by the classic ARB Wrangler JK Deluxe bumper is the newly developed Wrangler JL Deluxe bumper designed to provide maximum full width protection while remaining practical and stylish. Outer wings have been designed specifically to suit both Rubicon and non-Rubicon factory flares and are able to clear up to a 37 tire. Included with the bumper are brackets for retention of both factory halogen or LED fog lights to help maintain a clean OE look.

When the need for recovery has arisen, the JL Deluxe bumper is ready and full of features. Incorporated is a winch mount platform that will allow the mounting of most low mount style Warn winches up to 10,000 lb. Welded 0.8 recovery points included for snatch or winch double line recovery pulls. Jack points are also included in the center pan section and are designed to safely lift the JL using the ARB JACK or a mechanical recovery jack. Antenna tabs on the main tube can be used for fitment of communication antennas or additional driving lights.

JL Deluxe bumpers are pre-treated with a zinc shield for superior corrosion resistance. The bumper is then powder coated in an Integrit texture finished which is designed for maximum aesthetic appeal in an ultra-low sheen matte finish. Integrit textured powder coat is uniquely formulated to replicate the appearance of automotive grade black plastic on steel or alloy fabricated products. Visually the finish is similar to the OE flares on the JL.

This rear bumper retains the OE towbar assembly, including trailer wiring and license plate illumination. Press-formed wings have been introduced to closely mimic the shape of the factory tub yet still provide greatly improved levels of protection compared to the original equipment tow bar and rear bumper.

ARB has designed and developed an ARB Rear Bumper that can be fitted in conjunction with the Original Equipment Towbar. Each component has been designed to complement the vehicle's design in a stylish and practical manner, while truly maximizing protection. ARB's Rear Bumper mounts to the vehicle chassis with a combination of M14 and M12 bolts, nut plates, and captive nuts within the vehicle chassis. For off-road use, the ARB Rear Bumper has been designed to protect the tub and tail of the Gladiator JT and includes two ARB Jack or Hi-Lift jack points and twin chassis mounted rated recovery points. Provision has been made for fitment of OE parking sensors (if fitted). Fitment to Rubicon models with OE steel rear bumper will require OE light bezels.

Furthermore, provision has been made for the fitment of an air chuck to enable airing up of tires after off roading.
